pages from the past

Many years ago I was lucky enough to find a victorian scrapbook at a flea market. I can't ever think of letting it go.


It is chock full of great imagery and history. Whenever I flip through its pages, I try to imagine who it originally belonged to and how they decided what was "scrapbook-worthy".


I believe it came from the state of Ohio because many of the cards have addresses within the state. I wish I knew more.


Whoever it belonged to was extremely popular judging from all the calling cards.
